1960s IGNACIO HAYA GOLD LABEL PALMAS CANDELA SINGLES
$30.00These hand rolled Palmas were made at Factory #1 in Tampa FL. It was the first factory built in the famous Ybor City District. The dating of these cigars relies on the box information with no zipcode, no warning labels and no barcode this places production prior to 1964. These may even contain Cuban tobacco based on the "G" rating and advertisement photo stating vintage havana at the same price 2/55 cents.
1960’s WHITE HOUSE PERFECTO SINGLES
$35.00White House perfectos were famously manufactured by C.N. Foreman & company (PA). The "&" company was none other than The Diamond cigar co. of Passaic NJ. It appears as it is written in 1928, that the Diamond cigar co has been making the White house cigar as early as 1920. Max Diamond was the former owner of the Diamond cigar co and continued to manage and operate factories in Jersey, Delaware, PA and possibly Ohio, despite the fact that C.N. Foreman owned and controlled the company. This box was produced in York, PA.

The Cohiba XV is a full-bodied, rich tobacco degustation premium. It savouring a select Sun Grown Sumatran wrapper leaf that is aged for three years. Ritmeester cigars was owned by the Van Schuppen family established 1887. They manufactured in 5 factories in the Netherlands by the 1960’s.
They were popular in Canada as well as Australia, they entered the Australian market in 1964. They did well for a Dutch cigar company and were held in high regard.
During the 1950’s and 1960’s when many cigar companies were turning to homogenized leaf and machine rolling Ritmeester prided themselves on hand rolling and use of all natural tobacco.
In 1967 Johnny Hopkins had an article published in the Calgary Herald where it is talked about how Ritmeester is till practicing the dying art of the hand rolled cigar.
It is mentioned in this article that all Dutch cigars are made using only Indonesian tobacco.
In 1970 the Gallaher Co buys control of Ritmeester and by 1976 Gallaher is recruiting salesmen & saleswomen to develop sales for the Ritmeester brand.
The Ultimate Cigar Book by Richard Carleton Hacker mentions Ritmeester as being from Holland and one of the world’s premier Dutch type cigar using 100 percent tobacco.
The book also states Jochem Van Schuppen started manufacturing cigars in 1887 and introduced the Ritmeester brand in 1915. They are considered “Dry cigars” meaning they were kept at lower RH. In another book “ Hidden like Anne Frank: 14 True stories of survival written by Marcel Prins & Peter Henk Steenhuis Ritmeester cigars are mentioned because the Van Schuppens were actually hiding Jewish citizens from the Nazis. Employees for the Van Schuppen family aided in keeping families safe and hidden as well. The Van Schuppen family founders are Jochem & Marinus Van Schuppen and the first factory was started in Veenendaal. Today the company continues to produce and market cigars under The Dannemann Group as of 1989. George Dannemann is Brazilian and had a cigar factory in Brazil where Mata Fina flourished. Todays Ritmeester cigars lean heavily on Brazilian tobacco.
1940 WELTRUF HABANA SINGLES
$35.00These cigars are WWII era and were made in Germany before the war. Date stamp on the box is DEC 6 40. Weltruf translates to World Reputation. These were made from Cuban tobacco as referenced on the box and they burn perfectly.
1972 DUTCH MASTERS MARAUDER SLIMLINE PANETELAS SINGLES
$35.00These are an extremely rare Dutch Maters vitola, information is even hard to find. These were dated by a newspaper announcement article for these from 1972 and the lack of a barcode (UPC) on the box. The UPC began use in 1971 but was not widely used until stores adopted the inventory tracking and scanning equipment sometime time later.
1964 WEBSTER FANCY TALES SINGLES
$35.00Webster cigars were made from the 1920s as Webster-Eisenlohr then in 1952 they were bought out by the Bayuk Cigar Company. The Webster brand was a premium brand that in pre-embargo times was 100% havana filled. These cigars are post embargo and it is unlikely they contain havana but they are still a nostalgic vitola and a world class 60s cigar.
1965 SUERDIECK BAHIA BRASIL OURO DE CUBA SINGLES

By far one of the top 10, best tasting "mature" cigars we've ever had the privilege of burning! Suerdieck Bahia c.1965 cigars still, to this day, remains rich and full-flavored due to their incredibly hearty Brazilian tobaccos. Rumor has it, like many German-market cigars from this era, that the blenders actually "snuck in" Cuban tobacco into the filler of this cigar in an attempt to get around the Embargo Act—again, just a rumor, but they taste delicious.
Suerdieck Bahia hails from the Suerdieck S.A. factory which stood in the Reconcavo Baino region of Brazil. The factory remained in operation from 1890 to 1999, when it closed. Rolled in 1965, the cigar sports a Brazilian Maduro wrapper concealing a long-filler blend of hearty Brazilian tobaccos and maybe, just maybe, a sliver of Cuban leaf, but that can't be confirmed. The blend burns smooth, and although you'd expect a subtle taste, you're still blasted with medium-bodied strength, so this beauty was probably incredibly powerful in 1965. The flavor profile is actually still filled with that semi-sweet, rich chocolate taste Brazilian tobaccos are known for. For a super mature cigar, Suerdieck Bahia performs like it was just rolled yesterday.

1947 BANK NOTE CLUB HOUSE SINGLES
$40.00The Bank Note brand was manufactured in Red Hill, PA by W. C. Frutiger and Co. This premium cigar brand was produced by the millions it it's heyday. These Club House figurados are made in the Perfecto style. This box of 50 is near mint and has been properly aged. Notice the one opened for photos has plume, Plume is evidence that you have a well-aged and properly cared for cigar. The white dust is crystallized oils from the cigar itself. Except for the cello aging they look like the day they left the factory over 70 years ago. Notice the closeup photo of the tax stamp showing a perforated 47 (1947).
