1990’s BACHSCHMIDT CIGARILLOS SINGLES

$10.00

Bachschmidt Little cigars are machined short fillers. Refined Bachschmidt Little cigars have a bright natural cover sheet of Sumatran tobacco.

The Bachschmidt Little cigars are manufactured in the Arnold André cigar factory. The smoker is surprised by Bachschmidt Little cigars, which are a revelation in terms of appearance and taste. The inlay is created from a mixture of different, selected tobacco, which is held by a binder of tobacco. The wrapper is made of tobacco that has matured in Sumatra. With a length of 109 mm and a diameter of 10.9 mm, the Puros Sumatra are quite impressive cigarillos.

The smoker is won over by a taste that is elegant and complex. The Bachschmidt Little cigars are packaged in a beautifully designed box tin of 10 cigars. The machine-made short fillers impress with their very good workmanship and even burn-up. They are cigarillos that offer smokers a daily smoking experience.

“Arnold André – The Cigar Company” was founded in 1817. Today the cigar factory is based in Bünde and is the largest German cigar manufacturer. With various brands such as Handelsgold, Vasco da Gama or Tropenschatz, the company was able to establish itself in the industry or even write German cigar history. For a long time, Arnold André focused only on the Handelsgold brand, which is still understood today as a symbol for the upswing of the German economy in the post-war period. It wasn’t until the popularity of cigars declined in the 1970s and 1980s that the house decided to pursue a more offensive strategy with several brands.

Gourmets appreciate the traditional Bachschmidt Little cigars.

1965 SUERDIECK BAHIA BRASIL FLORINHA SINGLES

$20.00

I obtain these cigars from a contact I have in Portugal. They are well maintained and fresh. I have included information and two reviews on this brand from a major website that no longer has them, see below:

From Cigar.com:

Performs like it was just rolled yesterday.

By far one of the top 10, best tasting "mature" cigars we've ever had the privilege of burning! Suerdieck Bahia c.1965 cigars still, to this day, remains rich and full-flavored due to their incredibly hearty Brazilian tobaccos. Rumor has it, like many German-market cigars from this era, that the blenders actually "snuck in" Cuban tobacco into the filler of this cigar in an attempt to get around the Embargo Act—again, just a rumor, but they taste delicious.

Suerdieck Bahia hails from the Suerdieck S.A. factory which stood in the Reconcavo Baino region of Brazil. The factory remained in operation from 1890 to 1999, when it closed. Rolled in 1965, the cigar sports a Brazilian Maduro wrapper concealing a long-filler blend of hearty Brazilian tobaccos and maybe, just maybe, a sliver of Cuban leaf, but that can't be confirmed. The blend burns smooth, and although you'd expect a subtle taste, you're still blasted with medium-bodied strength, so this beauty was probably incredibly powerful in 1965. The flavor profile is actually still filled with that semi-sweet, rich chocolate taste Brazilian tobaccos are known for. For a super mature cigar, Suerdieck Bahia performs like it was just rolled yesterday.

CAO CRIOLLO MANCHA SINGLES

$20.00

The CAO Criollo cigar comes wrapped in a dark, rich chocolate brown Criollo 98 wrapper. This wrapper is the product of years of hybridization and selection and delivers a smooth, creamy and slightly spicy aroma and smooth finish to these beautifully constructed cigars. The Criollo cigar strain of tobacco is believed by many experts to be one of…
if not the original tobaccos found in Cuba when Columbus arrived. The word criollo means "native seed" in Spanish and it is this native, Cuban seed that eventually lead to the Criollo 98 wrapper leaf. Combining this outstanding wrapper from Nicaragua and an all Nicaraguan long-filler blend, the CAO Criollo cigars provide the well-heeled cigar smoker a truly unique medium bodied smoking experience. With a bevy of 90 ratings from Cigar Aficionado magazine, the CAO Criollo is a cigar that should find its way into every serious cigar fan's regular rotation.
